Picnic with the Pi’s

“Picnic with the Pi’s” is our annual fundraising event in the Spring semester where members, friends, family, and alumnae compete in multiple events such as Tug-of-War, egg drop race, and dizzy bat race. We also sell concessions with proceeds going towards the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest.

Givebacks and funraising

Giveback events are fundraisers held at local restaurant franchises. We partner with a franchise and they agree to donate a percentage of each customer’s meal if they mention ADPi at the register! This past year we partnered with Chipotle, Menchie’s, Raising Cane’s, and Chili’s to name a few. We do these several times per semester, and you can find the announcements on any of our social media platforms!

Casino Night

“Casino Night” is our annual fundraising event in the Fall semester where members, families, friends, and alumnae can participate in classic games such as Black Jack and Poker where tickets are sold to purchase chips, and the person who earns the most chips back win a prize. All ticket sales and proceeds go to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest. Click the link in our Active Philanthropy Events tab to purchase tickets now!

RMHC DInners

RMHC dinners are a sister favorite to get together a few times a month and serve at the Ronald McDonald House on Texas Tech’s campus. Our members cook a planned meal to the families staying at Ronald McDonald House, offering them a warm meal and creating bonds.

Tabling

ADPi combines our love for the Texas Tech community with our love for philanthropy by spreading cheer at tabling events! Our tables can be found in the Free Speech Area outside of the Student Union Building when we hold these events. Our spring tabling fundraisers this year were “Roses for Ronald” and “Send a Valentine”, where we sold flowers to raise money and made home-made cards for guests staying at the Ronald McDonald House here in Lubbock!
